We had the fortune of staying at this fabulous property during our wine tour of Burgundy. the room was immaculate and charming, and the hosts, Nadia and Michel-Henri, were incredibly welcoming. We felt right at home as they treated us like long-lost friends. the breakfast in the morning was delicious, and we even had the opportunity to taste their incredible wines. We cannot wait to come back and experience their warm hospitality again!
Nothing for me 😊.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property was beautifully furnished and the rooms were well equipped with comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was exceptional, with lots of delicious local produce. The location was great, just a short walk from the village center and nearby attractions.
The pool area was a bit cramped when everyone was outside. It would have been nice if it was a bit bigger or had more seating options.

I chose this hotel for our team retreat because it provided excellent facilities for our meetings and team-building activities. The ambience and amenities were top-notch, creating a conducive environment for productive work and collaboration. , the location was ideal, with convenient access to our firm's offices in Paris and Lyon.
The only drawback was the unavailability of a business center or dedicated workspace. As a businessman, I missed having a designated area where I could work and attend to my professional needs.

As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the thoughtful and comfortable design of the hotel. The furniture and finishes were beautiful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas, such as the courtyard and living room, were very comfortable and had a cozy, cocooning feel. I also found the hotel to be easily accessible for us older individuals, with no major obstacles or stairs that were difficult to navigate. It was a pleasure to stay in such a well-designed and senior-friendly hotel.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there for senior guests.

The barrels were so fancy, I half expected them to start tap-dancing. The provided amenities made me feel like I was a survivalist preparing for the apocalypse.
I was devastated that they didn't have a live marching band to serenade me every morning.

The beautifully renovated historic house with its elegant furnishings created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The peaceful courtyard with a pool was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. Nadia and Michel, our hosts, made us feel like part of their family. Their exceptional warmth and care made our stay even more memorable. We even got to extend our check-out time so we could make the most of the amazing pool. The private chef at the estate was a fantastic experience, as we enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast served by him. And the private tour of the wine cellar, complete with wine tasting straight from the barrel, was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. It's safe to say that our time at Le Charles V was one of the best stays we've ever had!
My children wanted more activities specifically designed for families.

The location of the hotel is great, with a lovely town to walk around in and a bigger town just 15 minutes away. The rooms are well-equipped and the beds and showers are excellent. The breakfast is copious with a tailored option available. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and helpful, making you feel like a long lost friend. The property is newly renovated with lovely touches throughout, including a snooker table.
The pool area is relatively small when all the guests are sitting outside.
